The Drum Heater Base is used for Heating Metal Drums and Heating Plastic Drums . Drum Heaters are ideal for raising and maintaining the temperature of products stored in drums, ensuring the appropriate viscosity and temperature for storage and handling.
The Drum Heater Base consists of a thermal blanket made of silicone reinforced with fiberglass fabric, resistive wire, with internal and external cabling (Teflon or silicone cable) according to the electric current, temperature controller, standard or industrial male power plug, and metallic structure.
The Platform Type Drum Heater supports continuous operation up to 250ºC (482ºF) and peaks of $300ºC (572ºF) for short periods of time. Furthermore, it can operate in cold environments down to -40ºC (-104ºF), supporting negative peaks of -90ºC (-130ºF) for short periods of time.
It is manufactured with excellent insulating material that ensures electrical insulation up to 20KV. It is also resistant to moisture and chemical products, making it easy to clean. The silicone has a good shore hardness that gives it a crushing resistance of 1kg}/cm2 (the Drum Heating Base supports up to 500 kg of weight).
