Learn More About Our Heating Blankets for Curing

The Heated Thermal Blankets are widely used for curing processes of resins and concrete.
The Silicone Heating Blankets are made of silicone reinforced with fiberglass fabric, resistive wire, and a fixation system tailored to the client’s process needs2. They feature internal and external cabling (made of Teflon or silicone cable) according to the electric current. They may include an insulation cover made of Cordura fabric, with external Nomex insulation and internal ceramic fiber insulation, a temperature controller, and a standard or industrial male power plug.
They support continuous operation up to 200ºC and peaks of 230ºC for short periods of time5. Furthermore, they can work in cold environments down to -40ºC, supporting negative peaks of -90ºC for short periods of time.
They are manufactured with an excellent insulating material that guarantees electrical insulation up to 20KV. They are also resistant to moisture and chemical products, and are easy to clean.
They are very flexible so that they perfectly mold to your container or surface, even if it is dented. The silicone also has good Shore hardness, which gives it a crushing resistance of 1Kg/cm².
All fabrics used are flame-retardant (do not propagate fire), non-stick (easy to clean, can be done dry with a cloth and alcohol) 12, waterproof (allowing them to work in wet or external environments), and resistant to cutting and high temperatures.
The insulation cover used retains heat, preventing the Silicone Heating Thermal Blanket from losing temperature to the environment. It also protects the operator, allowing them to work close to the heated area since it insulates between 60% and 70% of the temperature, thus reducing the risk of burns.
The Curing Heating Blanket from Paulista Heaters has good durability with a considerable lifespan of up to 5 years when working daily within the temperature range it supports.
The Silicone Heating Blankets from Paulista Heaters are controlled by a digital panel (we use NOVUS 1030 with PID function or NOVUS 1050 for ramp-soak control)17. They feature an internal sensor for Thermal Blanket temperature control and an external sensor with a bulb for resin temperature control18. The following sensors or thermocouples can be used: J, K, PT100, PTC, NI120 or another.
The Heating Thermal Blankets from Paulista Heaters are of high quality, serving areas and containers from small to large since they are custom-made to meet the process of each client. The controller can be manufactured in accordance with NR10. We also have solutions for working in explosive areas with EX certification, and we meet international standards with CE certification and other required technical norms, according to client requests agreed upon in the quotation.
The Silicone Heating Blankets are widely employed in large scale in: pharmaceutical industry, food industry, chemical industry, metallurgical industry, workshops, restaurants, hospitals, laboratories in general.
